Take A Walk…
Posted on July 27, 2010 · Leave a CommentDoctors and people alike always tell you to get 2 and a half hours of activity weekly. we all know it’s good for us but do we always listen? No, we have excuses or other things on our priority list.
Stop all the excuses and make yourself a priority! You don’t have to join a gym to get the exercise you need. The Estates at Tuscany Ridge has a club-class fitness salon and gorgeously landscaped grounds with paved walk ways! Get your exercise here.
Personally I don’t enjoy treadmills, so I walk/run around the community as my cardio. I then head into the fitness salon and finish my exercise routine there. I’ve created a great habit for myself and I get the chance to do it in my community.
Your Outdoor Scene…

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, your outdoor space at The Estates at Tuscany Ridge should be treated like another room. You can decorate it like you want and creat any atmosphere that you please but remember this, add candles!
Adding candles to your outdoor space at the Estates at Tuscany Ridge really brings everything in together. At night you can experience the glow that candles give off and it’s a great piece to talk about with guests!
Your candles can take on any style you wish to create for your outdoor space of your apartment; fun, classic, traditional, or romantic. What will you choose?

Going to Green Island!
Posted on July 20, 2010 · Leave a CommentMy parents (and your parents too) always told me to try new things. That it was good for me. Of course they were right, and I have them to thank for it. One of my favorite things to try new, is food. There are so many takes on food by different people and cultures. Living in Tampa has definitely given me the advantage on trying out different foods! Recently I headed out to Green Island and was completely floored at the yumminess of it all especially the Boba tea!
Green Island has made its claim for fame by providing yummy frozen yogurt as well as refreshing Boba teas and smoothies with a smile.
I’ve had Boba tea (or bubble tea) all my life and after moving to the Estates at Tuscany Ridge I was looking for a restaurant that was close by that had it. Most importantly I wanted my Boba tea to be yummy. Green Island has a fresh and all natural menu. They have a unique idea with their drinks and meals that it’s a definite must try! If you’re worried about the sweet treats, Green Island doesn’t use sugar. They use an all natural sweetener, Fructose.
Head on out to 10074 Adamo Dr. and give Green Island a try! Call (813)374-9006 for more information.

Google, Bing or Yahoo…
Posted on July 15, 2010 · Leave a CommentWhen it comes to search engines I’m an avid user of Google. I’m loyal really, mostly because Google is very dependable and I love the themes the logo gets on certain days. Of course there are different search engines out there, you’ve got the old favorite Yahoo, and the newest addition to the family, Bing. What do you use when you search for things? Vote on our poll and let us know what you use! Comment below if you don’t see what you use in the list.

As a Florida Resident…
Posted on July 6, 2010 · Leave a CommentLiving in Florida is very advantageous, you’ve got everything practically at your fingertips! When I think of it, I adore all the themed parks that are around us. As a kid I loved the Disney themed parks, everytime you’d ask me where I wanted to go for the weekend I’d scream Disney. Now that I’m older I have to say my interests have changed. While no one can compare to Disney, I’m starting to enjoy Busch Gardens because of the rides. They’re a bit more riskier.
Another great advantage of being a Florida resident are the discounts! Yes, we get great discounts to themed parks. Busch Gardens is giving a great discount to Florida and Georgia residents! You can purchase a ticket for less than a day’s admission for unlimited access. This is for 2010 only, you can buy a Fun Card now and enjoy Busch Gardens anytime you want until December 31, 2010!
Another option you can enjoy is doubling up on the fun! You can choose between SeaWorld and Busch Garden or Adventure Island Weekday and Busch Gardens your choice!
If you ask me living in Florida is great!

Cleaning in a Hurry!
Posted on June 28, 2010 · Leave a CommentDid you just receive that call from unexpected guests? What are you going to do about your space, it isn’t even ready for guests. You have clutter everyhere and you haven’t had a cleaning spree for a while…
Here’s your solution, have a Quick and Fast Cleaning Blast! (Like the name? Made it up myself…) If you don’t have the time to take the toothbrush to the floors why not take the mop. Get the same clean result but faster for those unexpected guests!
Where to begin?- When you’re in a hurry start cleaning where your guests will enter first. Your entryway, bathroom, living room and the kitchen.- Clutter- Get rid of it! Take a moment to keep all of those small things that have been piling around your apartment.
- Dust- Don’t think you have the time to dust? Of course you do! Micro-fiber picks up the dirtiest dust quickly!
- Mirrors- Clean your mirrors and quickly! Spray down with glass clean and wipe away!
- High Traffic Places- Vacuum your the high traffic areas in your apartment, your hall way, living room, clean any carpets and rugs you have also.
- Fluff- Give your furniture a quick fluff and make it look good before your guests arrive.
- Countertops- Give your countertops a wipe down and declutter if needed.
- Troops- If you need help in your quick clean ask for it. Everything will get done with more than one person.
When you’re finished with you Quick and Fast Cleaning Blast light some scented candles around your apartment. If you don’t have candles, give your apartment a spritz with scented spray.

Hand in Hand for Tomorrow!
Posted on June 23, 2010 · Leave a CommentThis Saturday, June 26 Hands Across the Sands will be at it again! In hopes to stop dependence on fossil fuels, this organization is once again joining hands across the nation’s beaches, parks and cities to stop the dangers of offshore oil drilling.
Hands Across the Sands was founded back in October of 2009. Dan Rauschkolb the founder organized a statewide event on February 13, 2010. All over Florida people gathered to send a message to their legislators and Governor Crist that they did not want the offshore drilling bans lifted in Florida waters. This Saturday it’s happening again but not only in Florida, all over the nation and the world!
Hands Across The Sand’s mission is to change our engery policy away from its dependence on fossil fuels and into the light of clean energy. The aim is to convince our leaders to abandon expanded offshore oil drilling and adopt policies that encourage clean and renewable energy resources.
This weekend beaches in Tampa are participating, so you can join hands!
